A Loving Send-Off for Aunty Carol

Hi everyone, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for even taking a second to read this.

My name is Alyson. I am one of Carol and Paul’s nieces. My family and I are asking for help.

In November, Aunty went into the nursing home for rehab after being in the hospital for a heart condition. We all thought she would have been home by now, but her health had other plans. Yesterday, 4/24, we got the call that her condition has gotten much worse. She is now back in the hospital in critical condition. We don’t want to admit it, as anyone who knows Aunty knows she is the life of the party, but the end is near for her. While she has made it very clear to us she will be dancing on the moon, our hearts are broken.

Due to both Aunty and Uncle Paul being so sick for the last few years, they have been in a bit of a financial situation. They don’t have life insurance because of how sick they are and past medical conditions. Uncle Paul is living with cancer (he has had several different kinds over the years, but currently his cancer has no cure).

As a family, we are trying to raise some money so that we can give Aunty a proper send-off to the moon.
