Dear friends and family,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out with a heavy heart to share some news about my mom, Pamela Reid. After 14 years of living with the aftermath of brain surgery, she has just learned that the three tumors they were unable to remove back in 2011 have grown larger, leading to some serious health issues, including more seizures. Because of this, she needs to undergo urgent daily radiation treatment for 6 weeks at UCLA.

Unfortunately, radiation comes with significant costs. As my mom is self-employed, she does not qualify for disability coverage, and while insurance will cover part of the treatment, there is still a large deductible to meet. On top of that, she will lose her income for the next couple of months due to the daily treatments. It’s a challenging road ahead—physically, emotionally, and financially—but we are staying hopeful and focused on her healing.

We are humbly asking for any support you may be able to offer. Every small contribution will go directly towards covering her out-of-pocket medical expenses and help with the financial challenges her family is facing as she focuses on her recovery.
