My name is Jordan Mitchell, and my family and I are trying to raise money for the memorial service of my sister, Harvest Mitchell.
Harvest was born on February 8, 1985. She was a fighter through and through. She always stood up for the people she loved, no matter the situation. That strength is something everyone who knew her admired, and it’s something we’ll always carry with us.
On January 10, 2024, Harvest was diagnosed with cancer in her left kidney. She had surgery in April 2024, and by August 2024 she was officially cancer free.
In May of 2025, Harvest needed more surgeries because of complications from the cancer and other health issues. She went through a hysterectomy, had a stent placed in her remaining kidney, and had a hernia removed that was caused by her earlier kidney surgery. Even after all of that, she was recovering well and staying strong.
On December 27, 2025, Harvest suffered a brain aneurysm. Our dad found her unresponsive and she was rushed to the emergency room. After multiple tests, she was pronounced brain dead on December 29, 2025.
We are asking for help to cover the costs of Harvest’s memorial service and to bring our dad and her remains back to Florida. Any donation, share, or kind thought means more to us than we can put into words during this incredibly painful time.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for helping us honor Harvest.
