A loving husband and father, Robert Aram

Hi, my name is Amanda Slocum Aram. I am Robert Aram's daughter. On August 25th, my family and I experienced one of the most challenging moments of our lives. On that day, we lost our father to cancer. After suffering silently but intensely for over a year, my selfless and kind-hearted father lost his battle to Glioblastoma; a very aggressive form of brain cancer. My dad was diagnosed on August 16, 2021. After his diagnosis, he underwent surgery that was able to remove a portion of the tumor and began radiation and chemotherapy. For the first 6 months of my father's diagnosis, he was strong, confident, and ready to fight his battle head-on, as this is the type of person he is. Unfortunately, this cruel disease took our father and a loving husband much too soon.

As we have been navigating the grieving process and next steps, we have found that funeral expenses are astronomical. It is difficult for anyone to ask for help, especially financial assistance, but any manner in which we can help ease the stress and pain of my mother and family is my ultimate goal. I have been fortunate enough to be able to contribute some funds, but not nearly enough. If any at all, my family and I appreciate even prayers for our situation, as we are all experiencing a type of pain and loss that is unbearable.
