My brother, Jimmy Duong, passed away on August 11th, 2025, unexpectedly. He bravely fought schizophrenia throughout his adult life and did his best to get help.

My family and I are deeply heartbroken and in disbelief of his passing.

Jimmy was more than his struggles. He was a loving son, a brother, an uncle, and a loyal friend. He had a great sense of humor and loved video games. He would have been a great game developer. We had high hopes and dreams for his healing and recovery.

We are asking friends and family for your support during this difficult time to help us give my brother, Jimmy, a proper funeral and final farewell.

Schizophrenia is a mental disease that we still don’t understand to this day, but one thing I am certain of is he gave his life to Jesus during his toughest battles. I got the privilege to baptize my brother and to see him give his public declaration of receiving Christ as his Lord and Savior. I know he is in safe hands with God.
