A loving father in need of support

Hi Everyone,

My name is Kyle Agunod, and my brother is Zack Agunod. We are trying to help raise money for my dad, Frederick (Eric) Agunod, who is battling stage 5 kidney failure and needs a new kidney. Currently, he is doing home peritoneal dialysis. He has had a rough 4 months. He was hospitalized in Sept 2023 with low white blood cell count as well as neutrophil cell count while also battling high-level uric acid causing gout in his knees and ankles. In Nov. 2023, he was required to do an angiogram, and the cardiac doctor found a 70% blockage in his left artery, which required 2 stents to be put into his artery. He finally made the kidney transplant list at UIC after all of the testing and blood work he endured during the last 4 months. He is on the inactive list until May 14th, 2024, due to the 2 stents. He is going through cardiac rehab to strengthen his heart but needs to get through the next 5-6 months before he can be placed on the active list. Once a kidney is available, it will take several months to recover, and he will not be able to work or pay bills. Please help support our dad and pray for his recovery.
