A Loving Father and Veteran Remembered

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved father, who left this world at the age of 90 after a brave battle with lung cancer.

Our dad, Felizardo Joya Sosa Sr., was more than just a father. He was a husband, a grandfather, a friend, and a hero. He proudly served in the United States Navy for 20 years, dedicating his life to protecting and serving his country. His strength, discipline, and integrity were the foundation of our family.

He leaves behind his devoted wife of many years and nine children who love him deeply and will forever cherish his memory. He was the heart of our home, always full of quiet wisdom, gentle humor, and unconditional love.

As we grieve this tremendous loss, we are also faced with the financial burden of funeral expenses, medical bills, and end-of-life costs. We’ve created this GoFundMe to help ease that burden and honor our father with the dignified farewell he so greatly deserves.
