I am Brooke Athey, the oldest daughter of James “Jimmy Lee” Athey whose soul crossed into the sky on the evening of Monday January 23rd. He was only 55 years young and all that knew him would say he had a heart of gold. He leaves behind a family that will always ache for his presence. While death is mysterious and can cross over anyone at any time, we never truly expected this to happen so soon. There are currently no arrangements determined but the family would appreciate the generosity of extended family and friends in memorializing Jimmy’s life in a special, meaningful way.
