Hello, we are the Marquez family, and we are reaching out for support on behalf of our mother, Maria de Los Angeles, during this incredibly difficult time.

On January 31, 2026, our beloved brother, Valentin, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ after a long and difficult battle with alcoholism, which led to severe cirrhosis and kidney failure.

Valentin was full of life and remained optimistic, even while struggling with this disease. He had a heart of gold, always willing to lend a helping hand and always putting the needs of others before his own. His addiction began at a young age, and while there were moments of sobriety, there were also times when he fell back. Over time, this illness slowly took pieces of him away.

Despite everything, Valentin remained happy and joyful, just not the same as before.

Although our hearts are grieving, we find peace in knowing that Valentin is now with our Lord in heaven, free from pain, rejoicing and dancing as he always did.

Our mother watched her son grow weaker and sicker over time, and she is now faced with the unimaginable pain of losing a child, along with the financial burden that comes with it. All funds raised will go directly toward funeral expenses and any additional costs she may face while she grieves and begins to heal.
