Montissa (Tisa) Theresa Traynham passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026, at the age of thirty-seven at George Washington University Hospital. Tisa was born on May 25, 1988, in Washington, DC, to Rhoda Robinson and was the third of seven children. At an early age, Tisa was lovingly adopted by Leeanna and Algie Traynham, Sr.

Tisa attended Payne Elementary School and Eliot Junior High School before earning her General Equivalency Diploma. As a young child, Tisa had a lively, outgoing personality, which she maintained through adulthood. She was a free spirit with a love of self-expression, committed to living her life on her own terms. She loved to read and was skilled at crocheting.

Tisa faced life challenges, but she will always be remembered in the hearts of all who knew her.
