Stefani Guzman-Flores A devoted daughter, sister, and mother of three young boys, Stefani was a woman full of compassion, care, and selflessness. Her life was dedicated to nurturing others. As a Labor and Delivery RN at St. Francis Medical Center, she was honored to help bring new life into the world, touching countless families with her kindness and exceptional care.

Stefani was so accustomed to caring for others that she never imagined she would one day need that same care herself. That all changed on September 26, 2024, when she was diagnosed with Stage 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer—a rare and aggressive form that accounts for only 15% of breast cancer cases.

Though the news was devastating, Stefani faced her chemotherapy journey with courage and hope. She completed every treatment with strength, holding on for her children, who looked to her as their source of hope. “One last time,” she said after her final session—grateful to God and our family who stood by her side. Even as chemotherapy took a toll on her body, she continued to fight with unwavering faith. She embraced her baldness, held her children tighter, and believed she would overcome this battle.

Sadly, her condition did not improve. What once was a life filled with caring for others became one where she was confined to a hospital bed, FaceTiming her children, watching their smiles fade into sadness. She carried the heartbreak of missing their milestones and the unbearable thought of one day no longer being there for them.

On the morning of April 6th, God called Stefani home. Our family is completely shattered. No one is ever truly prepared to lose someone they love so deeply.

Today, our family is overwhelmed with grief and facing the difficult reality of laying her to rest. A GoFundMe has been created to help give Stefani the farewell she deserves. We ask friends, family, and the community to help share this and support in any way possible.

"Una última vez", dijo después de su sesión final, agradecida a Dios y a nuestra familia que estuvieron a su lado. Incluso cuando la quimioterapia pasó factura a su cuerpo, continuó luchando con una fe inquebrantable. Ella abrazó su calvicie, abrazó a sus hijos con más fuerza y creyó que superaría esta batalla.

Lamentablemente, su condición no mejoró. En la mañana del 6 de abril, Dios llamó a Stefani a descansar. Nuestra familia está completamente destrozada. Nadie está realmente preparado para perder a alguien a quien ama tan profundamente.
