The family of Sione Leonaitasi Vatuvei, affectionately known as “Scope”, are deeply moved by all the outpouring of love, prayers and kindnesses shown during this difficult time.   Sione lived a life filled with strength and loyalty. His untimely passing not only is mourned by those who loved him but also by those who knew him. He was a dedicated son, a newly married husband, and a proud father amongst the many hats that he wore.

Despite adversity, he sought to play a pivotal role in reshaping the minds of youth, those who struggled with addiction, and the people around him. His relentless determination and positive outlook on life were contagious as many can attest to. He was not a perfect man but he continuously strived to be. No mother should have to grieve losing their child, a wife their husband, and a son their father.

 As we struggle with his loss, we remember his life and the light he brought to us all. Any help, big or small, will go towards funeral expenses to help alleviate the burden that his family and his wife, Christina, now suddenly face.
