It is with profound sadness that we share the heartbreaking loss of Yessenia “Sisi” Norman, a beautiful and bright 18-year-old daughter to Jessica Nuñez. Sisi was a loving granddaughter, great-granddaughter, and cousin—a young woman of deep compassion and strength for everyone she knew. She loved all of her friends' children endlessly, treating them as if they were family too. She was a very talented young woman who had a very bright future waiting for her. She recently signed up for community college and was very eager to start her adult life.

Sisi went missing mid-January, and after two weeks of searching, her remains were tragically found. The circumstances surrounding her death are currently under investigation, so her family is asking for privacy at this time while they navigate through the next steps of this unfortunate process.

We are starting this GoFundMe to help Sisi’s mother Jessica deal with this unexpected loss, and to help ease the burden of the upcoming costs for services. Please do what you can to help us lay our beautiful Yessenia to rest.
