In Memory of Richard Royston

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Richard Royston, who passed away on January 17th, 2026, at the age of 70.

Richard was known for his love of motorcycles, excavating and great BBQ. He was the kind of man who showed up, worked hard, and lived life on his own terms. Anyone who knew Richard knows the pride he took in the things he loved and the loyalty he had for those closest to him.

Richard fought a long and difficult battle with Lewy Body Dementia, a disease that brought significant emotional and financial strain. The medical expenses related to his care were extensive and unexpected, and now his family is facing funeral costs during an already heartbreaking time.

Richard leaves behind his beloved wife of more than 30 years, Ginger Royston, who is navigating this loss while also managing these expenses. We are raising funds to help cover funeral costs and remaining medical expenses, so Richard can be laid to rest with the dignity and respect he deserves.

Any donation, no matter the amount, will help ease the burden on Ginger and allow the family to focus on grieving and remembering Richard’s life.
