A Loving Farewell for Our Veteran Dad

My dad, Dennis Kendall Sr., passed away just 6 days before Christmas this year. Dennis lived a full life and was welcoming toward everyone he knew, wanting to bring people together and help his community as much as possible. Serving in the Army National Guard doing various jobs including financial counseling, cooking, and bookkeeping, he discharged as Honorable and went to take care of his family. Paid his life insurance for multiple people in the family for decades, and just toward the end of his life, wasn’t able to keep up with the payments. His life insurance and military insurance isn’t active just before he passed, as he focused so strongly on others and the holidays he skipped just a few months of payments. We need help to bury our dad, my mom’s lifelong partner, our role model, and with all the lives he touched being a Vet, active in the community and in his family, going to church and helping those who needed it- we need all the help we can get. Thank you.

His visitation will be Thursday, January 2nd from 11-2 at Usher Funeral Home, and gravesite Military honors at 2:30p. 100% of the proceeds will go towards his burial at Floral Park, with the fundraiser ending Wednesday morning. Thank you for all your support for such a great man.
