We are heartbroken to share the passing of our beloved grandmother at 94 years old, just shortly after celebrating her birthday. She was an incredibly strong, resilient woman who lived a life full of perseverance and love.

Born and raised on a ranch in Zacatecas, Mexico, she knew hardship from a young age and worked tirelessly throughout her life. One of the ways she supported herself was by making and selling her homemade bread—something she took great pride in and poured her heart into. Her strength, independence, and determination inspired everyone around her.

For the past five years, she bravely battled ongoing health issues, frequently going in and out of the hospital. She faced repeated complications with fluid in her lungs, enduring many procedures to have it drained. Each time, she fought through and came back stronger. Sadly, this last time, her body could no longer keep fighting.

We are now asking for support to help cover the costs of her funeral and burial, so we can give her the respectful and loving goodbye she deserves. Any contribution, big or small, means so much to our family during this difficult time.

Con el corazón roto, compartimos el fallecimiento de nuestra querida abuela a los 94 años, poco después de haber celebrado su cumpleaños. Fue una mujer increíblemente fuerte y resiliente que vivió una vida llena de perseverancia y amor.

Nacida y criada en un rancho en Zacatecas, México, conoció las dificultades desde muy joven y trabajó incansablemente durante toda su vida. Una de las maneras en que se sostenía era haciendo y vendiendo su pan casero—algo de lo que se sentía muy orgullosa y en lo que ponía todo su corazón. Su fortaleza, independencia y determinación inspiraron a todos los que la rodeaban.

Durante los últimos cinco años, luchó valientemente contra problemas de salud, entrando y saliendo del hospital con frecuencia. Enfrentó complicaciones repetidas con líquido en los pulmones, sometiéndose a muchos procedimientos para drenarlo. Cada vez, lograba salir adelante y regresaba más fuerte. Lamentablemente, esta última vez, su cuerpo ya no pudo seguir luchando.

Ahora estamos pidiendo apoyo para ayudar a cubrir los gastos de su funeral y entierro, para poder darle la despedida digna y llena de amor que merece. Cualquier contribución, grande o pequeña, significa muchísimo para nuestra familia en este momento tan difícil.
