On November 30th at 12:15am, during a random and senseless act of violence, my baby brother Isaiah Thompson was taken from us.
Isaiah was the baby of our family, a "Mama's Boy". Being the youngest, he was the typical handful. He was also loving, loud, adventurous, and generous. He was an amazingly talented athlete. He went out of his way to make people feel happy, taken care of, and included. His smile, laugh and humor were infectious. He loved to laugh and joke.
Isaiah was 26 years young. He loved to travel the country with his job. He leaves behind a four year old daughter, a heartbroken mother and step-dad, two sisters, two brothers-in-law, his girlfriend who loved him deeply, eight nieces and nephews as well as countless family, friends and loved ones. Additionally, on his late fathers side, he had a sister, three brothers and other family members as well. This loss is unexpected and devastating. Isaiah is one of five of my mothers children. Unfortunately, he is also one of three children that my mother has laid to rest. He joins his older brother and sister in heaven. His loss is a pain no mother should endure. Its a pain none of us should endure.
During this difficult time, no additional information will be released due to an active investigation being conducted. Right now my mother and family need support, strength, love and prayer to navigate this tragedy.
If you are able, please consider donating. If not, a simple share goes a long way. Every dollar, prayer, and repost truly makes a difference. All donations raised will go toward funeral arrangements for our beloved Isaiah, funds go directly to his parents Rosie & Victor Ramirez.
My family and I would like to thank all those that have expressed their condolences, sent prayers or reached out in any way to support us during this most difficult time. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, it is much appreciated.
Warmest regards,
Big Sister Lisa
