A loving farewell for Orlando Garza

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our sweet Orlando “Doni” Garza.

He was a cherished quiet loving soul who brought so much love and light into our lives for the past 18 almost 19 years.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Orlando just completed his first semester at Texas Tech pursuing a degree in engineering and was just starting one of the most exciting stages of life.

And now we are getting ready to say goodbye to one of the softest souls with the sweetest laugh and beautiful smile we've ever been blessed enough to love.

Doni was so smart, so funny and so talented. His future was big and bright.

As we come to terms with Doni’s passing, we are faced with the difficult task of arranging his final farewell.

As parents we save for our children’s college and their Christmas. We don't save for their passing.

No parent should have to bury their child.

So, we are doing all we know how to, to support his parents as best as we can.

We want to give him the dignified and heartfelt send-off he deserves,

but unfortunately, the financial burden of funeral expenses is overwhelming for our family during this already challenging time.

We are reaching out to our community for support in honoring Orlando’s memory.

Any contribution, no matter how small, will help alleviate the financial strain and allow us to focus on grieving and remembering him fondly.

Funds raised will go towards his funeral service.
