Family and friends we are saddened to share the news that my godmother Maria Carballo has passed away unexpectedly. On Tuesday morning (3/17) we received the call that my godmother was at the hospital, and sadly didn’t make it. She was a loving mother, wife, daughter, and a great friend to those who met her. She was always the reason one would laugh. I’m trying to help raise money for my godfather and godbrother to help them reach the costs for the funeral and burial expenses to be able to send my godmother to Mexico to put her to rest. Any donation no matter the amount is truly appreciated and will truly help our family during this hard time. Thank you to everyone who has helped us by donating and sharing.

Familiares y amigos, con gran tristeza compartimos la noticia de que mi madrina, María Carballo, ha fallecido inesperadamente. El martes por la mañana (3/17) recibimos la llamada informándonos que mi madrina se encontraba en el hospital y, lamentablemente, no logró sobrevivir. Fue una madre, esposa e hija amorosa, así como una gran amiga para todos aquellos que tuvieron el placer de conocerla. Ella siempre era el motivo de nuestras risas. Estoy tratando de recaudar fondos para mi padrino y mi primo hermano, con el fin de ayudarles a cubrir los gastos del funeral y el entierro, y así poder trasladar a mi madrina a México para darle su descanso final. Cualquier donación, sin importar la cantidad, será profundamente agradecida y representará una verdadera ayuda para nuestra familia durante este difícil momento.
