Hello everyone, my name is Carolyn Taylor, the mother of Makayla Mendez. As you all may know, my daughter was killed by her supposed-to-be boyfriend on April 24th at 3:30 a.m.

I got the call around 11:30 a.m. the next day when a detective came to my house and told me there was someone outside my door. They informed me that my daughter is gone.

I'm trying to raise money for her burial, so if you guys could please find it in your heart to help me see her off right, I would really, really appreciate it.
