The De La Cruz / Diaz family has suffered the profound loss of a remarkable woman, a devoted mother, a dependable sister, a cherished friend, and a loving wife, Lidia A. Diaz.

Lidia faced numerous health challenges and had been hospitalized for ten days prior to undergoing surgery on January 16, 2026. She was admitted due to severe chest pain related to complications from a previous open-heart surgery performed in May 2024. On January 16, 2026, Lidia underwent a triple bypass cardiac surgery that lasted approximately fifteen hours. Sadly, she was pronounced deceased at 3:00 a.m. on January 17, 2026, due to complications that prevented her blood from clotting adequately, resulting in critical blood loss.

While this is an immeasurable and heartbreaking tragedy for our family, we take comfort in knowing that Lidia A. Diaz is no longer suffering and has been called home by God, who had a greater plan for her in heaven.
