My name is Laynee and I’m making this fundraiser for my best friend Haley and her family after the recent, unexpected loss of her dad, Jeremy.

The past year and a half has been a long road with his health. However, even though we knew things had been hard, a lot of us truly believed he was on the road to recovery. Jeremy Halladay passed away peacefully in his sleep after a long and exhausting battle with medical issues.

If you knew Jeremy, you knew he was strong as hell and stubborn in the kind of way that made you think he’d push through anything. He loved music, movies, the Cowboys, Mountain Dew, and most importantly, his family. He loved being a dad, but being “Papa” was something he was especially proud of.

Right now, Haley and her family are grieving a huge loss while also having to carry the financial stress that comes with memorial expenses, which is the last thing any family should have to worry about while going through something like this.

I wanted to put this together to try to take even a tiny bit of that weight off their shoulders.
