It is with heavy hearts that we share that our beloved grandmother, Celia, passed away peacefully last night 2/24/2026 at 99 years old.

My grandma was truly the heart of our family. She loved nothing more than being surrounded by her children and especially her grandkids. Family meant everything to her. Whether we were gathered at home or out enjoying a good meal together — something she absolutely loved — she was happiest when we were all close.

If you ever got to meet my grandma and she liked you, you knew it. She had a way of grabbing you by the arm and keeping you right there, talking and laughing for as long as she pleased. Once she had you, you were hers for the conversation — and that was her way of showing love. Her warmth, humor, and strong spirit filled every room she walked into.

Ninety-nine years of life is an incredible gift, and we are so grateful for every moment we had with her. While our hearts ache, we find comfort knowing she lived a long, full life and passed peacefully.

As we navigate this difficult time, we are asking for help to cover funeral and memorial expenses so we can give my grandma the beautiful farewell she deserves.
