My name is Mary. My cousin, Frank Lupe Atkinson, unfortunately passed away on January 20, 2026. He was deeply loved by many in his small town of Blanco, Texas. His passing was sudden, and we are trying to raise funds to help cover his funeral expenses.
Frank had been blind in both eyes since a young age, but he never let that stop him from living a full and meaningful life. He stayed busy carving beautiful art from wood and took great pride in caring for the ranch that was passed down to him from his mother, who sadly passed away less than a year ago.
We are not asking anyone to feel obligated to donate; we are simply hoping that those who are able and willing might help in any way they can. Any amount truly helps, whether it’s 25¢, 50¢, or $1.
Frank was well known in his community for his positive attitude and his ability to stay bright and hopeful no matter his circumstances. Though he couldn’t see with his eyes, he had a rare gift for seeing people’s souls. He was always willing to help anyone however he could, and his kindness left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
Account managed by my son, David.
