our beloved mother, Erica McWhorter, was taken from us far too soon in a devastating car accident. She fought bravely but passed away today, March 9, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. The suddenness of this tragedy has left us shattered, and we are still trying to process the immense void she has left in our hearts.
Erica was the heart of our family—a devoted mother & grandmother whose warmth, strength, and unconditional love touched everyone who knew her. She had a beautiful smile that could light up any room, a laugh that was contagious, and a giving spirit that never turned anyone away. Whether it be cheering at our events, offering advice during tough times, volunteering in the community, or simply being there with a hug and listening ear, she made the world feel a little kinder and safer. She worked hard her whole life to provide for us, always putting her children first.
The unexpected nature of this accident has brought overwhelming expenses at the worst possible time. We are facing significant costs for:

- Travel and lodging for out-of-town family members coming to say goodbye
