Hello, I am Holly, Daryl’s sister. Daryl was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy when he was 16 years old. He never let it stop him from living life. As he aged, the disease progressed and life became increasingly harder. Daryl never complained and just kept going. As the disease began to take away more and more, his will to live became stronger. Daryl was the strongest, most positive person I have known. I am saddened he lost the fight, but relieved that he no longer has the excruciating pain anymore.
Daryl had lived on disability for many years and would share with anyone what little he had. We are asking our friends and family to support us in giving him a nice send-off by donating. Funds will be used for cremation, church ceremony, flowers, after service gathering food, drinks and venue. In lieu of flowers for the ceremony, we would like plants we can share with his loved ones to remind us of him or a donation to the Muscular Dystrophy Society.
Any amount will help! Please share this link to reach others who might help. Thank you.
Service will be Monday December 29th at 10am at Immaculate Conception Church. More info to come.
