Help Us Honor the Life of Christian Nelson
On December 2nd, Christian Nelson, tragically lost his life during an encounter with Seattle police. There is still so much we don’t know about what happened in those final moments, and our family is heartbroken as we wait for answers.
What we do know is that Christian struggled in recent years with depression and periods of instability, but he was so much more than his hardest moments. Christian was once full of energy, laughter, and that big “golden retriever” spirit that everyone who knew him remembers so well. He loved loud music, motorcycles, sweets (especially Crumbl Cookies), and his friends and family. He proudly tried to serve in the Air Force, and he leaves behind his loving mother, his wife, and his 9-year-old son, who is now grieving the loss of his father far too soon.
Our family was not notified of his passing until two days after the incident. We are now trying to navigate this tragedy while also facing the reality that we don’t have the funds to travel, gather, and give Christian a proper farewell.
We are asking for support to help with:
• Memorial and funeral arrangements
• Travel expenses for immediate family
• Support for his young son during this devastating time
Any donation, no matter the amount, helps us honor Christian with the dignity and love he deserved. If you cannot donate, please share this link and keep his family in your prayers.
Thank you for lifting us up during the darkest moment of our lives.
