Dear friends and family,

I hate that I even have to do this, but it is with an extremely heavy heart that I am reaching out to ask for your support. Recently, our family suffered the sudden and heartbreaking loss of my aunt, Chrissy.

Anyone who knew Chrissy knows the warmth and energy she brought into our lives. While our whole family is devastated, my heart breaks most for my grandmom.

I am creating this fundraiser directly on behalf of my grandmom, who is facing a level of grief that no mother or children should ever have to bear. Tragically, Chrissy is the third daughter my grandmom has had to say goodbye to, and this overwhelming loss comes just last year after losing her beloved husband.

Carrying this magnitude of emotional heartbreak is already more than one person should endure, but facing the immediate financial strain of final arrangements on top of it makes this time unbearable. She simply cannot carry this financial burden alone right now.

My goal with this campaign is to surround my grandmother with love and lift as much of this financial weight off her shoulders as possible so she can focus on grieving and honoring her daughter.
