Saying Goodbye to Bryan "Big Sexy" Beard

Donation protected
Hi everyone,
It's with a completely broken heart that I'm sharing this—my son Bryan Beard passed away suddenly on December 21, 2025. We believe it was a heart attack. We never saw this coming. No parent should have to go through losing their child.

Bryan was just... incredible. He had this charisma that drew people in, and his sense of humor could make anyone crack up laughing. He was loved by almost everybody he met. :)

He absolutely loved being a member of the Nuggets family, starting out as my little sidekick at the games when I was a courtside server in the 90's, then ball boy, then random appearances with Rocky to make everyone smile, to an Average Joe's dancer. He also absolutely loved his time working alongside Big Al and DMac on The Drive - 104.3 The Fan. He had so many circles of friends from different parts of his life. You all meant the world to him, and he loved you.

Right now, more than anything, we need prayers. Please pray for us to have strength, for some peace, and for comfort in trying to get through saying goodbye. We're holding onto God with everything we've got, so your prayers mean the world.

This happened so fast that we weren't prepared for the funeral costs. I never thought I'd have to plan something like this for my boy. I truly hate having to ask for help. But we need it. In this difficult time, we're humbly requesting contributions toward his funeral and final expenses, so we can make sure he receives the respectful send-off he so richly deserves and so we can all gather as family and our friend-family to remember "Big Sexy" together. To laugh and cry together. I know he would love it.

Every dollar will go straight to:

The funeral home and service
Casket or cremation
Burial fees
Any other unexpected final expense costs that come up.

Bryan was piecing working hours together with part-time work with 2-3 jobs, so there really wasn't anything left at the end of the day for saving or an insurance policy to cover this.

If you can chip in, even just a bit, we'd be so grateful—it would lift a huge weight off us right now. But if you can't, please pray for us & if you can, share this.

Bryan had a big heart and cared about every one of you. You all meant so much to him, and you do to us as well.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Love,
His mom Shelly, David, Sarah, Peter & Ellie, and Holly Fradkin
