Hello my name is Elizabeth and I am Angel’s aunt.

This fundraiser is to help with the costs of Angel’s funeral. It was around the end of my sister’s first trimester when they let us know the condition Angel had.

The doctors told us that Angel had anencephaly, a condition where Angel wouldn’t fully develop the top of his little head. They also told us that Angel was not going to develop properly because of it, that included his spine. We truly believe that God can make any miracle happen, no matter how big or small it may be. So we denied what the doctor’s suggested, to terminate the pregnancy.

After a month, my sister went for her checkup again and Angel’s spine had developed! We gained hope and trusted in the Lord. They would tell us from there on that Angel was progressing well but not ever mentioning the top of his head. We were realistic but we remained steadfast in God. We talked about the outcomes the doctor’s told us about, to remain realistic but in the end knew that it would be God’s will over anything.

The labor and delivery process was long and painful for my sister and for all of us as a family. My sister and her husband stayed in the hospital for almost an entire week where their nights would be restless and hopeful.

Angel was born on November 21, 2025 at 1:13 pm. He breathed for seven minutes where he fought for his life till the very end. He got to hold his father’s fingers and feel his parents embrace before he joined all the little angels up in heaven. Angel was loved for 9 months in the physical world but will forever be loved in the heavens and in spirit for as long as we all live. Angel’s life mattered and that’s what matters to us.
