As the family of Apollo Holand Duran, a loved son, brother, father, uncle, and friend, we are welcoming support in laying his body to rest. We understand that funds are tight for us all, but truly, anything helps.

It’s taken the family a couple days to wrap our heads around what happened and we still can’t believe it’s true.

Appollo was a troubled soul and had a hard life from the moment he was born. This world was cold to him at every turn but he never stopped smiling. Anyone who ever met Appollo could tell you his energy was contagious. He was so passionate about so many things and just wanted to help people. He was the uncle every kid dreams of having and was never too busy or tired to wrestle and play with his nephews because he was just a big kid himself. He was full of love and joy. We can still hear his laugh when we close our eyes.

He had so much light and determination in his heart. With everything stacked against him, he fought the darkness to the very end. Now he doesn’t have to fight anymore and he’s finally found the freedom and peace he’s been chasing all his life.

We know he’s in heaven singing and dancing with the angels as we speak.

We will miss you so much, Beautiful Boy.
