My name is Delicia Barnes, I am the Eldest/First born of Alice Summers’ 5 children. After a 7 month battle with cancer, tumors on her brain and acute seizures all while being bed ridden; Alice took her final breaths on 1/28/26 after being taken off life support. She left this earth after 61 years of glory, leaving behind 5 children and 6 grandchildren. We are raising money to help with her funeral arrangements and last wishes. Though this is very heartbreaking for us, Alice was a strong woman of God and loved her children very much. We aim to transfer her from Atlanta to Indiana where she was born to be buried close to her mother and other family members. Also to have the services at the church she grew up in as a young girl. 

We are grateful for the chance to celebrate our mothers’ life and give her a proper farewell with her close family and loved ones. Thank you for all the kind words and support from the Summers, Barnes and Daniels’ family.
