A Loving Farewell for Adan Zepeda

On December 29 2025 my father suffered a major brain hemorrhage. He was rushed to Vallejo Sutter health but they didn’t have the proper equipment to treat his injury, he was then transported to San Francisco hospital since they had the best stroke specialist. Once doctors performed X rays and treatment they told us that he had suffered a large stroke and that his brain was still bleeding internally.
Due to the area of the stroke and swelling of his brain they said that surgery wasn’t really an option since they ran more risk on damaging his brain more than what it already was. The left side and center area of his brain were damaged and that caused him to lose mobility, speech, visual, breathing. He was on life support in the ICU for two weeks but he showed no signs of improvements, the swelling in his brain didn’t go down. On January 12 4:15pm, I saw my father take his last breath and my heart stopped, the numbness that I’m feeling inside is unimaginable. I wish I could hear him one last time and tell him how much I loved him.
I’m very grateful that he made me into the person I am today and forever will be.

Adan was the kind of man who showed up for the people he cared about, always putting family first and offering support and help even though he didn’t have much to offer. His presence, wisdom, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was funny and very talkative. He was always trying to build relationships with people. My dad was old school and to him respect meant everything to him which is why he always respected everyone.

This loss has been incredibly difficult for me. As we grieve, we are now facing funeral and memorial expenses. I have created this GoFundMe to help ease that burden, so our family can focus on honoring my father’s life.

Any donation, no matter the size will go directly toward covering these expenses and will mean more to us than words can express. If you are unable to donate, sharing this page and keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers is just as appreciated.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and love during this difficult time. We are forever grateful for the support as we remember and celebrate the life of my father Adan Zepeda.
