I'm Ellen Ticktin. My dear granddaughter has had several medical emergencies and is now facing open heart surgery and possibly a heart transplant. She is only 30 years old. She has been in the ICU for heart failure patients for more than a week, while her husband takes care of their 3 1/2-year -old little boy and 4-month-old little girl. Our whole family has pitched in to help, but they urgently need more funds to help cover the extensive costs of what will not be covered by medical insurance.
