Hiya, My name is Molli-Ann O’Halloran, I’m 21 years old and from Limerick City. I come from a working-class family and am one of four siblings. From as far back as I can remember, performing has been my dream. Music has always been where my heart lies.
I am currently in my final year studying a BA in Voice at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance at the University of Limerick. Throughout my life and studies, I have worked hard to develop my voice and performance skills, holding onto the hope that one day I might step onto a professional stage.
Earlier this year, not knowing what my future would hold after graduation, I took a chance and applied to the London School of Musical Theatre (LSMT). To my shock and joy, I was offered a place on their prestigious one-year Musical Theatre course, beginning in September 2026. This opportunity is truly life-changing. It will allow me to train with some of the most experienced and respected professionals in the industry, helping me grow as a performer and opening doors to a career I have dreamed of my entire life.
Unfortunately, this course is not eligible for Student Finance England or SUSI support. This means I must cover the full tuition fees of £17,500, along with living expenses of approximately £400 per week, entirely on my own.
I am committed to doing everything I can to make this dream a reality. I am currently organising a fundraising night to celebrate and showcase the incredible talent in Limerick, and I will continue to seek every possible opportunity to raise funds. However, I know these efforts alone will not be enough to cover the full cost.
Over the years, I have been proud to use my passion for music to give back. From performing at events and fundraisers and supporting charities such as Novas and communities within ASD and SEN. It is something I hope to continue to do throughout my career.
It is with humility that I ask for your support. Any donation, no matter how small, would mean the world. If you are unable to donate, sharing my story would be just as appreciated.
I hesitated before creating this fundraiser, as I know there are many important causes out there. However, with the encouragement of my family, friends, and mentors, I have taken this step in the hope of making something truly meaningful, a reality.
I have been fortunate enough to receive a reference from the principal of LSMT which I am happy to share if you’d like.
I have attached a link to a recent TikTok of me singing also, https://vm.tiktok.com/ZNRX3KqH5/
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story.
Kindest regards,
