Just days before his 60th birthday, our dear friend Todd Hudy suffered a major stroke that changed his life forever. Instead of celebrating this milestone with friends, food, and his favorite band, he found himself fighting for his life.

He was discovered by a local police officer after collapsing in the road and was rushed to the emergency room in Neenah, Wisconsin. After weeks in the hospital, he was transferred to St. Joe’s Nursing Home in New London for rehabilitation. While he is making progress, he now faces permanent challenges from paralysis. Simple tasks, like climbing the 30 stairs to his apartment daily, are no longer possible.

Scootie (his nickname:) is a proud Veteran who also lives with PTSD and has always been the kind of person to give back. He loves to fish, help others in the community, and brighten the lives of those around him. Now, he needs our support.

My name is Carson, and since moving here, Scootie has personally helped me and become one of my closest friends. That’s why this hits close to home. Together, our community has already started raising money and are planning a benefit dart tournament to support him. But the need is much greater, and that’s why we’re reaching out here.
