Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this message.
A little bit about Jared Coles. Simply put, Jared Coles was a family man, a community man, a selfless man. Jared is the type of person who would literally give you the shirt off his back to help you out. Jared loved his family, hockey, animals, and working with his hands. Whether it was on classic cars or the car of a local neighbor who needed help getting their car running again, Jared was always willing to lend his talents wherever possible. Jared loved to give back to his community whenever possible. This very same spirit led him to join the Marine Corp, out of a sense of duty to his community. During his service, he suffered multiple injuries that ultimately led to his honorable discharge. He continued to battle these silent injuries for many years, finally succumbing to them very recently.
Today we pay tribute to a true American hero who served our country with unwavering dedication and bravery. Jared Coles selflessly sacrificed for our freedoms, but tragically, he succumbed to the silent battles he faced upon returning home. Jared was a local resident, born and raised in the Antelope Valley. As we mourn his loss, we are called to rally around his family and provide the support they need during this difficult time. Jared was a tremendously loving husband and father, he leaves behind his beloved wife, Cassandra, and their teenage son, Gavin. Their world has been shattered by the devastating loss of a husband and father, leaving them to navigate a future without his presence.
Cassandra and Gavin are now faced with not only the profound grief of their immeasurable loss, but also the daunting financial challenges that come with such a loss. From funeral expenses to everyday bills, the burden they carry is heavy and overwhelming. As a community, we have the opportunity to lighten their load and provide them with the support they desperately need during this difficult time. Your generosity can make a tangible difference in their lives, by offering them some relief as they begin to rebuild and find their way forward. Together, let us rally around Cassandra and Gavin, honoring the memory of Jared Coles by ensuring that his family is cared for and supported. Your contribution, no matter the size, will serve as a beacon of hope amidst their grief, reminding them that they are not alone in their journey.
This Go Fund Me is being organized by Return To Base (a local Veteran's non-profit organization), a local VFW, and various organizations who were assisting the Veteran before his passing.
Every donation will go directly to the widow and their son to assist with funeral services and other related expenses.
Thank You
