In loving memory of Evan Benoit, we are raising funds to plant a live California Oak in his honor at his gravesite. Evan is survived by his two loving fathers, Jay and Ryan, and he meant the world to them.

Evan was a High School Senior and a talented athlete who loved playing football and running track. His love for fashion was always on display, as he had his own unique and impressive style. He was aspiring to be a fashion designer and wanted to go to design school. He was gregarious and kind and his big smile made a lasting impression on everyone who met him.

One of Evan’s favorite pastimes was helping his dad Jay plant trees during the summer at the school where Jay works. He also cherished time with family, especially trips to Hawaii, one of his favorite places, and summers spent together on Cape Cod.

Planting a tree in Evan’s memory feels especially meaningful. It will stand as a living tribute to him, a place where his family and friends can remember him and where his spirit can continue to grow.

Though we lost Evan far too soon, his memory, joy, and love will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
