At MGC Civil, our team members are our family, and when a family member needs a hand, we band together to help in any way we can.

Mike Simons is a beloved member of the MGC Civil Family and loves nothing more than sitting on an MGC Bobcat in the sun and playing with “Big Boy Toys” every day.

Sadly, earlier this year, he received the heartbreaking news that he has been diagnosed with inoperable cancer. Along with his beautiful wife Linley he has 2 amazing daughters and all have had to come to terms with this devastating news.

During this incredibly challenging time, we are reaching out to the community, particularly those in the Civil Construction Industry, to band together and rally around Mike to honour all that he has brought to this industry.

To help ease the financial burden on Mike's family, and to help pay for the medical bills piling up, we are launching this GoFundMe campaign. Our hope is to provide them with the resources they need to focus on spending meaningful time together in the months ahead and to assist with any future needs that may arise.

While we cannot take away the pain or sadness that comes with such a diagnosis, we sincerely hope that these funds will help lighten their financial worries.
