My sweet cousin Jeff Barnett with his beautiful wife Harmony, and 3 of his 5 sweet babies. The oldest is a senior in high school, and the youngest is 2 and a half. Jeff has been in and out of the hospital, Southeast Georgia Health System, and Mayo. Jeff has stage 4 Cirrhosis and complications related to Alpha-1 Antitrypsin. This disease is fatal; the only cure is a liver transplant. Unfortunately, for our family, this disease is hereditary. Our Mamaw died from this disease, and Jeff's father, lovingly known as Papaw Barnett to his grandbabies, suffered from this disease as well and was very blessed, 20 years ago, to have had a successful liver transplant. Jeff is currently going through all of the testing required to be able to be placed on the transplant list. Jeff has been so sick and in and out of the hospital, his sweet babies miss him so much and can't understand why Daddy has to be away. Medical bills, regular day-to-day bills, and after-transplant care are and will be such a heavy burden on this loving family. These are good, hard-working, give-the-shirt-off-their-back people. They love their Lord, their family, their friends, and this beautiful country! Please join me in helping them in any way or amount that you can.
