A little support will go a long way

7/18/2022 Makayla James is now at peace. She passed away tonight at the hospital with her mom and stepdad by her side. No pain, no stress, nothing but love, light, and peace. Please take a moment tonight to say a little something, and tomorrow wake up and live your life the best way you can as your very best self.

Update: Makayla is not showing any signs of improvement as far as her brain activity goes. Her body is fighting and doing great at healing from pneumonia. She is unable to breathe on her own. She was trying hard to breathe on her own and had pressure support to assist her. Please, take a moment to think of her and pray to whomever you pray to or energies you seek....send all the positive and healing waves to her and her momma and family. Thank you.

Family is not always blood, but most importantly, chosen. Makayla James is family to me, she is an aunt to my children, sister to my husband and sister to me. Her mom is like a mom to me, and her brother is a brother to me. Makayla is 26, and fighting hard to beat pneumonia in both lungs, with one of those lungs collapsed. She was admitted to the hospital last Saturday June 18th, 2022. She has ventilators providing her with oxygen as we speak and she is resting.

I am asking for your help. Makayla is a fighter, and hard worker. She has a heart of gold, and loves with all her might. When she wakes up, I want her to be able to focus on recovery. Not her job or the bills, and how she is going to bounce back financially from missing work.

I want her to wake up and see that she has more support than she ever knew, and she is loved and cared for by her community, family, and friends. A little can go along way.

Please let’s come together to help her. Let’s come together to be the peace of mind she will need to fully recover and be her best self. She deserves nothing but love and support. I know we can make a difference together!
