Sandy Matos is one of the most gracious souls I know and a genuine friend and practically family to many … and It’s JUST NOT FAIR that she is burdened with the fight against cancer. This GoFundMe is just a small token to help reduce financial stress and free-up time to heal while she endures the agony of chemotherapy.

Sandy was recently diagnosed with stage-four esophageal cancer (Adenocarcenoma). Though not curable, it can be set into remission. She is also attempting to work two part-time jobs, which will become nearly impossible to sustain during chemotherapy. Dano, the love of her life, is doing everything in his realm to give Sandycomfort and security during these times. Raising funds will only help keep them both together at home and focused on this battle.

Sandy is a magician at stretching the dollar, so the funds raised will go a LONG WAY! My hope is for us to raise $2,000 to supplement regular living expenses and medical expenses (not covered by insurance) over the spring and summer. Anything beyond $2,000 can go towards a trip for her to see family in Phoenix between treatments or remission.
