Share your Love for Lisa and Jim

Welcome to the donation site for Jim and Lisa (Campbell) Breeden. Jim was diagnosed with multiple myeloma cancer In Nov 2022. They have kept this diagnosis very quiet and private, so this may be the first you have heard of it. With their blessing, they have agreed for us to share their story. Jim has been receiving treatments locally, but now it’s time for advanced treatments. They have finally received their appointment time at MD Anderson, and things are moving quickly. They will check in on May 29th to begin his treatments and have to stay until the end of July. The treatment and procedures require them to stay within a 10-15 minute range of the hospital. It would have been really expensive to stay at a hotel this whole time, so they have found a little furnished apartment close to the hospital. Finding the apartment and it even becoming available to them was a huge blessing. Originally, they were told there were no vacancies. As we all know, these additional out-of-pocket expenses for housing and food will be quite large, so a group of us wanted to step in and help offset some of these unplanned expenses. Lisa has been trying her best to continue working as many hours as possible while juggling getting Jim to his appointments and caring for him at home. She will be staying with Jim the whole time in Houston, so there will be no income, but there will still be bills to pay. Jim is a fighter and will WIN this battle !!
