A few weeks ago, a colony of stray cats including 13 vulnerable kittens were found struggling on a front lawn and living under a house . All were weak, sick, and declining fast. I couldn’t leave them there, I’ve taken in 2 mama cats and all 13 babies to keep them safe, showing them what toys, beds and litter trays are + building their confidence.
Awaiting funds for desexing and more crates to trap the remainder adults to be TNR. Heartbreakingly, one of the smallest kittens didn’t survive despite our efforts, but the remaining little ones are fighting hard. They have gone through treatment for eye infections, cat flu and are currently undergoing treatment for ringworm, which is a long and labour-intensive process that requires constant cleaning, disinfecting, replacing bedding and quarantine to prevent spreading to my family or pets. This alone means going through many blankets and supplies each week
All of the cats have received initial vet care, but one fragile kitten is on a special diet and needs extra support. With so many mouths to feed and such high care needs, the costs add up quickly—special-diet food, regular kitten food, adult cat food, cat litter, blankets, bedding, medication, and eventually the desexing of every kitten and adult cats so they can have healthy futures.
I am receiving support from a rescue and a lovely lady and I’m incredibly grateful for the help they’ve been able to offer. However, the rescue are already overwhelmed with the number of strays they are caring for and funding, so there’s only so much they can take on. That’s why I’m reaching out for additional support.
Any contribution no matter the amount will go directly toward the care, comfort, and medical needs of these cats. Your help will ensure they can fully recover, be desexed, and prepare for loving forever homes once they’re healthy with 1 baby already pre adopted
Thank you so much for considering a donation and for helping give these little lives a second chance.
