A little helping hand for a cancer treatment.
Hi,
My name is Uzma and I am fundraising to fund a cancer treatment for someone very close to me in the family.
As you may or may not know that the cancer treatment in Pakistan costs someone's lifetime savings and earnings and sometimes some people simply cannot afford the treatment to be done.
Someone very close to me, in Pakistan, is diagnosed with a stage 4 Follicular Lymphoma.
It is a type of cancer that affects B lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell. It's characterized by the abnormal accumulation of B lymphocytes in lymph nodes, which can lead to painless swelling in areas like the neck, armpit, or groin. While often slow-growing, it's not curable and can sometimes progress to a more aggressive type of lymphoma.
The survival rate for follicular lymphoma is at a five-year survival rate of around 90%.
Fact - The World Health Organisation has noted a steady increase in Cancer incidents in Pakistan. about 30% of population are diagnosed at stage 3 and 4.
Please donate as much as you can to give someone an opportunity to be able to go through the necessary treatment to manage the cancer and prolong someone's lifetime expectancy.
The donated funds will be used on chemotherapy costs and medicines along with the hospital admission and administrative costs.
