I recently was in the hospital for the past four months. I ended up having my left leg amputated, which was a total surprise to me when it happened. I went to the rehab center and was dropped, which caused an infection, so I went back in for 3 more surgeries. Meanwhile, I wasn't able to pay my bills, so now my electricity is turned off. I got the money for my water bill. I've never been one to ask for help, but I'm kind of in a jam. I had to go back in for 3 more surgeries and it will be another 6 months before I can get a prosthetic. It's been hard adjusting. I do appreciate everybody's help. It seems like I need just a little more to get over this.
