Hi, my name is Aviance, and I’m humbly asking for help with my December rent (it’s coming soon and I have not been cleared to work ) as I continue recovering from breast cancer treatment and multiple major surgeries.

This year has been the hardest of my life. I was diagnosed with invasive breast cancer and have gone through months of chemotherapy, a nine-hour mastectomy surgery, a second emergency surgery due to complications, and now I’m preparing for radiation. I’m still healing, still in pain, and unable to work while my body recovers.

I’ve always been independent and taken care of my two daughters on my own, but right now the financial strain is overwhelming. Between medical appointments, recovery time, and not being cleared to return to work, my income has stopped — but the bills have not.

I will be behind for December and just need help covering the rent keeping a home for my daughters is the most important thing to me so I can keep a safe home for myself and my daughter while I focus on healing and finishing treatment.
