Hello,

My name is Dave, and I never thought I’d find myself writing something like this. I’ve always done my best to take care of myself and lend a hand when others were in need. But life has a way of humbling us sometimes.

I’m a senior living on a fixed income, and lately, things have gotten especially difficult. My roommate quit paying his rent, so I’ve fallen behind on a few bills, and now I’m at risk of not being able to pay my rent next month. To make matters worse, my car—my only way to get to the grocery store, doctor’s appointments, and other essentials—broke down and needs repairs I simply can’t afford right now.

I’m asking for $3,000 to help me:

Catch up and stay current on my rent so I can stay in my home
Cover the repairs to my car so I can stay mobile and independent

It’s not easy to ask for help, but I know I can’t do this alone. If you’re able to give anything, no matter how small, it would mean the world to me. And if you can’t, just sharing this with others would be a blessing.
