It feels extremely awkward to put myself out there like this, but when you have a child, you do whatever it takes.

After a difficult separation during pregnancy—a decision that wasn’t mine—I’ve spent the last 18 months navigating legal proceedings with a newborn, then a toddler, while my immediate family is abroad. I’ve used my life savings on divorce and custody costs and now need help to cover my final legal bill.

Starting over at 42 is one thing; asking for this kind of help is another.

I originally set this up on a different platform (managed to raise just under £3,000), but it wasn’t working well for various reasons. Listening to your feedback, I created a new page that makes donating much easier—it’s straightforward and takes about a minute.
