A little help needed after brain surgery
Donation protected
Hello,
My name is Janelle Smith-Dozier. I am a front line healthcare worker. I have worked through the COVID pandemic from it's early stages. .
A little over a year ago I was diagnosed with a rare condition called Chiari malformation type 1. In simple terms, This means my brain is to big for my skull, which can stop, or slow down the flow of my spinal fluid. The only way this condition can be corrected this is to have brain surgery, which I had on July 14 2022.
The surgery involved removing a part of my skull at the base of my head to allow my spinal fluid to flow normally. This delicate surgery requires my brain and neck to heal. While I am healing, I can not work for at least twelve weeks. I am asking for assistance, to cover my rent, medical expenses, and bills. Whatever you give will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help, and have an amazing day!
Kind regards,
Janelle
